Hey everyone, first time posting here so bare with me.

Anyway, i just bought a mint condition 87 Accord but the engine is toast so i have a new engine OTW but i was debaiting since i have another 87 accord that was written off last month how much work i'd be looking at to change the transmission from auto to mannual.

I already have the parts so thats not a problem, but is it worth my time or not?

 

Personally I think it's not worth it. It's a pain, it's never quite right when you're done, and it molests the resale value of the car.



However, on a car that old... there's no resale anyway. As long as it's not your daily driver, I say go for it. Plan on investing quite a bit of time though.
