i had a Greddy 18g turbo kit on my B18C1 and it PLENTY fast, wouldn't be too safe in turns during full boost. It was damn QUICK in a straight line. I don't see any practicality having anything over 275WHP on a DD. just my 10 cents

To gain 100whp on a N/A honda engine (B or H series) will take a fully built engine(head and block), super high compression (can we say race gas, no gas station stops anymore) cams that will be unstreetable, and a tuning genious. Not if you are serious about having 300-400hp, go with forced induction and save yourself a few grand in parts and in fuel.
The motor you have now is more then capable of reaching your goals with a little bit of boost (assuming you have a b-series in there now)..

Oh I shall add that you will need high quality parts, for a header that actually produces some power expect to pay about $1,200 + and your stock intake manifold won't do either expect another $500 for a new one along with a t/b.
This car would not be cheap or street legal.

Yeah, good luck. Get a K20a2 and spend about 10k and you'll have 300whp.

May i ask you how u blew ur engine? I seriously wondering because I am planning on going turbo with my GSR as well, and I am wondering, specially at only 6 lbs! How many miles were on the engine? stock internals? JW, cus of the high compression issue and all...

have you not been reading the other reply's?

you can get 300hp NA but it will be:

1) not easy
2) super expensive
3) not at all streetable

How many different ways are you going to ask the same damn question.
You want 300hp, get ready to fork over some serious cash and expect it to guzzle race gas ($5.50 a gallon) and not be street legal.

For the amount of money you will spend trying to get 300hp out of those motors N/A you can have 400+whp and call it a day.

You've gotten your answer several times times by multiple people, now STOP asking the same question.

How much money do you have to spend? Will you be doing all this work yourself or paying someone?
You can easily spend well over $5,000 on parts to get your car to your goal, headwork isn't cheap you can easily dump $2,000 into the head alone. It can probably be done with one T/B but it's going to be easier to do so with individual t/b's so expect another $1,500 for that. There's $3,500 for just the head.
Pistons and rods will run you about $1,000 for both, labor to install can run easily another $500, then you will need to bearings water pump timing belt, misc gaskets (oil pan etc) so there goes another $300 in parts. Don't forget your arp head studs, head gasket, I/M gasket (may as well go with a hondata unit) $250 in parts. Top that off with a nice quality header (kamakazi or dc sports won't help much, but 2-3 hp) thats easily another $1,200 - $1,500 for a quality header that will give you gains..
Don't forget tuning, If you go with itb's you probably should go with aem or better for tuning ...that will run you about $1,200 for the aem unit or upwards of a few grand for other units such as haltec, motec, etc.
You will also need to upgrade your fuel set-up. Fuel pump and fuel injectors will run you about $500 ($200 if you go with dsm's and walbro fuel pump)..so your at about $8,450 for so....don't forget to add your tuning..thats easily another $600 on up to $1,000 depending on the tuner.
Grand total of about $9,500 ....
And what do you get for that $9,500??? your 300hp acura that guzzles 110 octane fuel. If it's anything like around here you will have to pump the gas into a gas can then dump it into your car, as it's illegal to pump race fuel into a street driven vehicle.

Or you could spend about $3,500 for a turbo set-up complete. Call it $4,000 tuned for 300whp (about 345hp) out the door.
It's your money, if you have something to prove, more power to you. Otherwise invest wisely.

I have less then that into my engine and turbo ($9,500) and my motor's built to handle well over 600whp. All I need is to upgrade my fuel system more, get a larger turbo and I'm set to make that kind of power for far less then 300hp N/A.

just drive your car into the wall, i swear it will give you at least 400 whp, that's as close as you get.

I think NA power is awesome. If you're willing to put the money in, you could make one hella fast streetable NA car...
