Ls/Vtec question?

i am doing a ls/vtec setup with a b18A1 block, i have CTR pistons(standard),besides the oil supply kit,oil/water pump(vtec),vtec head,LS head gasket,and head bolts, what else may i be missing or need or any advice i can get from anyone please?

is there someway i can calculate and etimate of horsepower using engine specs, like stroke,displacement,compression ratio, etc.?

only way to determine hp would be on a dyno.

guessing is no good. your's is as good as mine.
