only get h23 is you're going F/I, h22 for all motor and possibly F/I if you get reinforced internals and maybe lower compression.

ill sell you a FULL swap h22 for 1800, that includes everything but axels. the tranny is longer geared so if you dont want it ill still hook you up w/a good price on the rest...send me an e-mail for specs on it

Exactly. H23/H22 is a pretty worthless combo. Not only will you get the same problems associated w/ other frankensteins (which can all be worked out, naturally, but it is time consuming), it puts near the same power to the ground as a bone stock h22a. Like Andy said earlier, it's not like the ls/vtec. Whereas many things are different between the b18b and the b18c, really the only thing different in the block of the h23 is the crank (not talking about rods/pistons and it's lower cr) and the lack of oil squirters. You can buy h22a's so cheap now-a-days that it is just a waste of time to be inventive w/ something that will really get you nowhere.

the thing that is good about h23/h22 is that the higher piston speeds help to make tq at a lower rpm, the best way to do it is to get an h22 and throw a h23 crank in it, w/h23 rods and pistons, or h22 rods and custom pistons...i thought about my self but deemed it not nessary in my build up, however i will get you some contact info on my friend thats making 550+ whp w/it for almosta year now...buy the way he drives it every day
