help!!! clutch pedals keeps sinking to the floor
clutch pedal keeps sinking to the floor can't put in gear... but when i stop the car turn it off and pump the pedal it works fine.. "for about a mlie" what could it be????? the clucth is two month old. act xtreme racing clutch aluminum flywheel... plz help daily driver>>>>
Sounds like the slave cylinder is bad or you are very low on clutch fluid and need to add more and bleed the line. It could also simply be that the line needs to be bled. The lines could also have a leak in which case you would notice fluid pooling under the car and loss of fluid in the reservoir.
check the fulid level. it's fine what is the slave cylinder????? sounds like it needs to be bleed.. the trans had a leak, at the bottom of the trans.
but the place that did the swap fixed it.... i will try to bleed my self but if that does not work back to the swap shop i go.....

First off, this is a hydraulic clutch setup, right?
If so, look for the clutch fluid reservoir next to the brake fluid reservoir. Check the fluid level there. Then, trace the hardline that runs from there across the firewall and to the front of the motor. There is a unit held on by 2 12mm bolts with a rubber boot on the back half of it bolted to the front of your transmission. This is your slave cylinder. This is what you will use to bleed the system as it has a bleeder valve on it. Bleed it just as you would your brake system and keep an eye on the reservoir level so you don't run out while bleeding. If you notice any fluid leaking on the lines or from the slave cylinder before you begin bleeding then I'd look into this more closely as it will be directly related to your problem.
