Default Uberdata/Crome Tuning

Anybody here running uberdata or crome engine managements? How do you like it? Who tuned it for you and was it street tuned or dyno tuned? What is yoursetup and if you have 1/4 mile times or track times let me know EXACTLY what you have. Also is $150/hr for dyno tuning a fair price?

The tuner says it will take about 1-1.5hrs to tune.

I am running uberdata. When it was working correctly, it ran very well and pulled very hard. It is a fully capable program but the only issue you will have with uberdata is the lack of cold idle script, so you will notice that your cold idle will be very erratic.

Once I get the kinks worked out (which have nothing to do with the program, btw), it will be a very nice engine management system. I had to pick up an OBD1 P72, the chip kit, chip burner, OBD2a-OBD1 conversion harness, datalogging socket, and a wideband to make the setup complete, so it isn't "free". I would recommend Crome Pro instead of uberdata just because it is a more polished program with many more options and it allows finer tuning.

Don't be. It is annoying and embarrassing, but it won't hurt your car at all. That is why I recommend tuning with Crome since it has that scripting available.

It took me some time to figure this out too. You need to buy it directly from John Cui, the creator. The price is $175.

Go to forums.pgmfi.org and download the latest Crome beta version. Then go to the help menu after you start it up and then it will link you to a website where you can pay through paypal for the registration code for Crome pro.
