Engine swap ITR B18C6 in to Civic B16a2 EK4

Default Engine swap ITR B18C6 in to Civic B16a2 EK4

Hi
Can any body help, can i use my b16a2 wiring harness for the b18c6 or will i have plugs spare, and are the drive shafts the same, my car 2000 civic vti (euro), think its called Civic Si in USA same car.

the drive shafts should work from the b16 and you should be able to use your b16a2 wiring harness as long as both cars are the same OBD's

Its b18c6 in euro and some jdms that have come to euro have b18c6 written on the block, i have checked on my engine.

My car is obd2b the teg the engine come from is obd2a, i think the wiring is the same, can you confirm.

the connectors at the ECU are different a OBD2a harness will not plug into a OBD2b ecu and vise versa

could you just run a conversion and chip an ecu to run it that way...although I dont know what the rules/regs are in terms of emissions in the UK. I just figured you could obd1 it and run a chiped ecu with appropriate tuning.

Ye ecu side is diffrent I know this but is the engine side the same. I am going to get ecu converter or a ecu from ond2b teg.
