I bought a OBD0 B16 1st Gen head off ebay for my ls/vtec conversion not knowing it was a OBD0. I am running a OBD2 ECU and wiring harness. Is there a way to convert the head to a OBD2 head by maybe putting on a GSR distributor. Or is there anyway around this problem. Thanks in advance.

 

You will have to change the Dizzy, Fuel injectors, and maybe the Intake Maifold

 

the ls is all obd2 just the head is obd0 is there no other way around this problem. The head i have has no intake manifold with it. Just the B16a head with the dist and vtec soleniod.

 

so what Intake Manifold were you planning on using?

 

I have a Type R on the LS at the moment. Am i able to use it.

 

Your life will be much simpler if you use an OBD1 ECU.

 

thats what i plan to do. Going to get a OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness and run a P28. I will just use the LS dist on the B16 and that should sort my problem out wont it ?
