v6 in a crx?
i going to put a j32a2 motor and 6spd in my 88 crx si does anyone know if this has been done before if so do they have a website i want to know if and how much of the front interstructure did they keep or cut if i have to ill just go with a tubular front end i have seen a nsx drivetrain in a crx but i want this to be front wheel drive and appear as stock as possible thanks
lol... good luck with that... you must be a rich bastard... you are going to either need to custom fabricate an entire transmittion or at least some sort of fancy ass power sucking adapter that will let you use a front wheel tranny... there is a reason the CRX you saw was RWD... CAUSE THE NSX is...
lemme guess... your next project is droping bugattis new W16 Quad Turbo engine into a del sol and converting it to FWD?

been done, they have two crx's around baton rouge, louisiana running around with the legend v6 swap in them.. had to do alittle cutting but it fit and their pretty quick with just a exhust on them..they both run 14.1-13.8 consitatly..

not to mention that a v6 is overkill in a crx IMHO

Do u realize how much extra a V6 engine from a legend weighs? Neither do I, but I'm sure it's pretty damn heavy... All that weight in front
wouldn;t want to drive that around a corner, lol...I've heard of H22 swapped civics that have probs, and they only got a 2.2!!
Honda's all about POWER to WEIGHT, and with a torque monster V6, all you would do is spin the tires to hell... WAY too much torque...
Just get a B-series, they are extremely simple to swap in, and have more potential...
