Default Which Setup Is The Best!! Please Help

whats up people, i have a gen 2 Teg and i will be doin a swap over the winter. the problem is i dont kno which one would be the best for me. I have three options
1) B20 (from a CRV) with turbo
2) LS turbo
3) H22 turbo

Now i would like to kno which setup would be the best in terms of cost, ease of installation and performance. If anyone has any imput on this please hit me up anytime--- my screen name is ey3e17. thanx

Like shbacash said, i'd probably look more into a B18C with a Turbo...

The H-series has been out of production since 2001. So the supply of motors has become limited and prices have risen accordingly. A well-built B20 can easily compete with the H22 when it comes to power..and there are a lot more B-series mills floating around than H's.

I would recommend a B20Z. You'll be able to keep AC and power steering and still have a wide powerband with plenty of torque.

Strip the B20Z down and port the head. Bolster the bottom end with forged pistons and rods...keeping the CR somewhere near 9.5:1. Reassemble the head with Crower's 402 "turbo" camshafts and so on.

Assuming you can find a B20 for $850 or so, you'll have a very strong motor ready for FI for less money than you'll spend on a B18C.
