92 LS won't start after 24 hrs.
I searched and found one thread related to this but it never had a solution.
I have a 92 LS and after driving around for the day, I let it sit overnight and when I went to start it in the morning, it was dead. I had to jump it to get it started. Once it is started for the day, it will restart with no problems. It has occured several times and I have had to jump it every morning.
I read on the searched post that it could be the battery going bad, so I disconnnected it last night to test it and hooked it back up this morning and it started right up. I am confused because it seems like it is being charged by the alternator but maybe I am wrong?
It seems that if it starts during the day, that the alternator is working but I am confused by the battery test this morning?
Is there a fuse problem or is it a cap and rotor issue or what? I need help.
The car has 170,000 miles on it and it is a manual. There are no hot connections like a radio or amp, etc..
Please help. Thanks.
