Vtec not working

95 SOHC Vtec- just had a complete valve job and now my vtech isn't working at all. What could of happen? Valves are also making alot of noise - i was told to come back after 400 miles to get valves re-adjusted- Does that sound right?

it's vtec, and the "dummy" rockers could be off, the vtec rockers that is

or you don't have much oil in the motor which is possible since you called it vtech
