Best turbo kit for my setup
Hey guys what's up?
I've had a 93 civic for 7 years now, it's my daily driver, and it works perfectly. It's a DX shell with a B16A bottom end, GSR head and intake manifold, GSR tranny, headers, full exhaust, chipped ecu, 17" rims, lowering kit, tokico blues, etc. Basically it's pretty hooked up. I am looking to get a turbo kit for my car for the least amount of money, and am looking for maximum drivability, i don't need a huge turbo setup. I found a company, SLOWBOYRACING.com that sells a turbo kit with a T28 turbo, Internal wastegate, Downpipe, Oil lines, coolant lines, upper I/C pipe, and a CAST manifold. They sell 2 kits one with a T28, and one with a T20? I've never heard of a T20, but I don't wanna get something that is not at least a decent power gain. I must keep my a/c so I think I'm gonna go with this kit. Prices are 1250 for T20, and 1550 for T28. Also, I'm gonna use a used I/C from a starion or so, and am gonna use a Vortech FMU. Lemme know what you guys think/know, I really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Mike B

How much do you have to spend? And how much power are you looking to make? Most times you can build your own kit for the same price if not cheaper then pre-fabbed kits. Plus you get better quality parts. I personally wouldn't use that turbo, it's a tad small for me.
I also don't recomend playing with boost if your on a limited budget (tight). or if this is your only vehicle.
