throttle question
Hey guys here is a bit of advice,
My buddy's car came from a junkyard as a rolling chassis, we built it with a B16A2 JDM legit full swap, with JDM computer n all, it idled REALLY erratically and we checked everything, it wasn't even throwing a code...
Turns out the seal around the BRAKE BOOSTER which is the big round drum on the driver side engine compartment firewall, was bad, it was leaking slightly, and made it idle from like 600-1500-2000, then drop off real fast and start over, I'd say check ALL VACUUM LINES AND SEALS, because I can almost GUARANTEE that it's a VAC leak, because his car was messed for a couple of months and NO ONE could figure it out until we stuck our fingers over brake booster, u could'nt even hear a leak.
If it's IAC valve, I had trouble with that already it will idle really high, like 3000-4000.
