This topic has been covered hundreds of times, I am gonna tell you straight out from seeing both potentials and also studying up on both systems,
If a supercharged motor is done right, they will run everybit as fast as a turbo, If a turboed motor is done right, they will run everybit as fast as a supercharger. I have seen supercharged motors turn the exact same times as turbo charged motors, although, I must say, turbo is by far the cheaper one. My tuner is shooting for 10's with his b18c1 jrsc. There have been many custom mods to the charger housing, as well as other things. The exhaust he is running is being fabed up by hytech right now and is a 3" mandrel bend all the way out. The charger housing has been ported to keep the heat soak down. Put it this way, he wraped up over 7k in just rods and pistons, just to hit the tens, but a turbo will hit tens with 7k into everything besides the cost of motor... its your choice.
