Default having some problems

well tonight i was riding home from my g/f's house and i noticed that when i drop a gear and get into higher RPM's my car sputters. My check engine light came on maybe a week ago and it's cuz one of the O2 sensors went bad, could this be the problem?? it's also been raining all day and i have a vented hood so maybe water got somewhere it shouldn't have, i haven't had that problem in the year or so that i've had that hood though. I drive a 99 SOHC civic BTW

Replace the O2 sensor and see. My buddy with a DSM had the same problem and it was due to the O2 sensor as well.

You should replace it anyway.

If that isn't the case, a full tuneup will probably help.
