What year B18C to get?
Im planning on getting a JDM B18C GSR swap for my 00 ex. Are there any differences between the years? On HMO, the highest year they advertise is 97. However, they told me they could get me any year i need. Are all the B18C's the same?

the type r changed the intake cam in 97and up to a ctr intake cam. It is better. Get the 97 and newer, and it comes with lsd stock. If they give you the option it's because they will give you a gsr tranny if you dont. GET THE LSD.

Try to find a 99-01 GSR motor that way you can use your wiring harness. 96-98 are OBD2a and 99-01 are OBD2b so if you geta GSR motor from 96-98 you would have to get an OBD conversion harness. Same thing goes for 94-95 which are OBD1
