Default trasmission shift linkage seal

I have a 1998 Honda civic hx MT(slow) that is leaking trans fluid slowly where the shift linkage enters the tranny. Just a few drops a day. I ordered the seal and plan to replace it this weekend. Has anyone changed it? just wondering if it just pops out with a clip after removing the linkage and boot?

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Should be pretty straightforward...

Except removing the shift linkage is a real PITA. There's a little 8mm spring pin in there that can be a beast to punch out. Good luck.
