I was just wondering what people think is better, in peformance and sound, between a twin loop designed aftermarket muffler compared to a straight-through aftermarket muffler?

 

a twin loop flows just as good as a straight through and will be quieter

 

twin loop is provides the best comprimise between performance and sound. GO with the twin loop

 

Twin loop is the beez-kneez :chuckles: seriously tho. I have one and they sound great! Very good peice, for a Ractive.

 

i made my own exhaust i put pieces together from things i thought would make it sound good and it does it sounds nice and quiet and deep when im driving normal but opens up when i get on it...Its a complete flow through design. 4-1 headers, High flow cat completely hollow just sound muffling stuff around the sides, then it goes to a cherry bomb, from there to a high flow muffler. Just a suggestion sounds great and have been complimented on the sound several times.

 

The reason for the existence of a twin-loop is that it is much quieter than a straight through design, while flowing just as well as the straight through. I need to go ahead and pull the trigger on the Hytech 2.5 inch twin loop for my ride, I don't like how loud my straight through Magnaflow is. But $400, plus shipping across the country....
