Default bad TPS?

i have a problem with my b16a wanting to fall on its face every now and then when i go to give it more gas. it feels like it is running out of fuel, but it only does it sometimes. it also only happens at partial throttle -- when it happens i can floor it and then it's fine after some jerking around. could it be the throttle position sensor? thanks.

i would check your, fuel injectors, spark plug wires, and ignition timing...if it is the tps....i believe it would only effect it at idle btw is the check engine light on?

no check engine light. the timing is retarded a little more than 2 degrees, but i know that's not the cause because it just started doing it one day. i'm also trying to track down some 450cc injectors to swap in soon. i read another thread and the guy had similar problems and someone had suggested the tps. i'm going to check the voltage on it when i have time. oh the other thing is that whenever it wants to die, my a/f gauge stays locked in stoich instead of going to rich like usual. i just replaced the o2 sensor also, so i don't think it's that. thanks.

Def check you spark plugs, timing, wires and maybe get your injectors flowed. I had to replace my tps, and your symptoms arent right for that. What mods do you have? Do you have an E.M.S., without that you cant really run 440injectors. i have 440's in mine with hondata and a F.P.R. (among many other things)

a clogged fuel filter could be the culprit, or a faulty o2 sensor. i am going through this EXACT problem with my h22 accord, just started doing this yesterday. i replaced the fuel filter and nothing changed. i think it's my o2 sensor.

BTW, my tps is also out of volt range, and the problems it gives is iratic idle after warm up sometimes it evens out and then it will just start idling crazy again...up and down.

well i decided that the problem is something with the o2 sensor, possibly a bad wiring connection. i unplugged it completely and voila, the problem is gone and it runs way smoother. somehow there is no check engine light, but still need to check everything and figure out what is causing the problem so i get my gas mileage back to normal. i also have a pm6 chipped with turboedit to run the 450's when i put them in.
