Default Time for a new air cleaner?/ *PIC*

Is it time for a new air filter or can I just clean this one?/ Also why does the filter look like its crushed?/

Yeah, I would say you need a new one. It looks crushed for either of two reasons: it was actually crushed or it was twisted somehow during installation.

throw it away and invest 35 bucks into a new filter
not worth cleaning the old one

the filter can be cleaned by taking it to a high pressure hose, in my opinion a good filter can last a long time.

Have you ever read most of the warnings on almost ever air filter cleaning system?

You NEVER use high pressure water due to the fact that it will cause the pores to expand, making the filter less efficient at catching small particles.

Soo I got my new filter today and as I started to take the wheel off to pull back the cover to get to the filter I snapped one of the lug bolts. I either have super human strenght or the yahoo that put the wheel on last overtightened the bolt.
