GSR short block with b16a1 head
Hey all....I am wondering what kind of compression ratio i would have if i put a gsr short block in my car in place of b16a block( using b16a1 head on the gsr). Also will this be worth it? Like hp/torque wise? Will it give me a noticable gain?
what kind of horsepower/ torque gains will i get? Before putting the head on the stock block i am sending my head out to get ported and polished. Complete Skunk2 Valvetrain with stage 2 cams and Intake manifold and TB

gs-r makes 172 crank hp, 127 ft lbs.
ITR makes 196 crank hp, not sure of tq numbers.
your c/r will be slightly lower so dont expect to make ITR numbers but you will be doin better than gs-r numbers
