u guys said if i get a long block b16a with my orig b18a tranny it would be sluggish but will it run for daily driving till i can turb it, keep in mind i am on a extremly tight budget right now im 17 and work at treasure island makin 8/hr
Sorry Bro im gonna use your thread so I dont create another thread for this since its kinda similar.... Neways I have a B16a1 in my '91 integra and im using the LS tranny and it runs fine it pulls but im guessing not as much as if I had the y1 or s1 tranny the b16 comes with
and also knowing that i ahve this setup I too want to turbo my car I want to use Turbonetics turbo system t3/t4 with 8psi so with all that like what else should i get before I get turbo ex. cams pistons so on... I wanna be able to safely be pushing about 10 to 12 psi when I plan on racing and just have it lowerd when driving around the city or to work so any suggestions would help thanks~ sorry again

Yeah you'll be fine. You may need to get the revs up a bit to get some power, but for the most part you'll be fine. I would although recomend swapping to a b16 or b18c tranny and selling your ls tranny.

Most any place. You can buy long blocks, short blocks, complete swaps.
You can probably find a b16 tranny on here for a decent price.
Have you looked at all online?
