Default jdm b16 and jdm tranny wierd gear ratio?

what is the normal redline for the jdm b16a? today got it up to 8,800 without a problem......and the tranny i have is nutz at 40mph im nicely in 5th @2,500 is that normal? has anyone have the same geared tranny? i get through 4 gears it seems within seconds and im at around 90mph and then 5th i never even push it to the max because it still accels. wicked fast and i don't have anywhere to test it....so if anyone has the same gear ratios lemme know cuz im consider changing the tranny cuz i cruz the highway at like 65mph cuz im at 4,000rpm already and it seems like im hurting the engine lemme know what you guys think

the b16 tranny has short gears so what you are explaining makes sense.

your tach is off when you get that high, so you were probly redlining at the stock rev limit.

stock redling is ~8200 or close to it. keep revving higher than that and say :wavey: to your engine.
