Plan to boost. need help
hey what up everyone,Im planning to boost my LS(b18a1) Does anyone have any links or articles on boosted Ls's and things to look out for,I also need to find a good rod/piston combo.right now Im shot peening the stock pr4 rods with stock pistons,should it be ok for about 10-12psi with a good tune?

Also try www.honda-tech.com it's a great source for information.
Your motor stock will handle about 300whp depending on turbo size thats anywhere frm 10psi to 20psi. Actually power being made and crappy tuning kills a motor, not how many psi you force into the motor.
And usually it's the factory cast pistons that give before the rods do.

What are your goals? 10-12 psi really doesn't say much. Do you have hp goals or 1/4 goals? Something insightful into what you'd like to get to would better help to provide you with information you can use.
