Default Re-Build....B16a1

Hey guys wondering if anyone can help? Well i know someone will be able to, theres a world of knowlege on here!....
I have a B16a1 and i putting it in my civic(92-95).....I've recently stripped the engine as it looked a bit worse for ware! Now i have the problem of re-building it! But the thing is i don't want it standard! Im looking for some easy options and cheapish if possible to gain some power, maybe bigger pistons cams etc? are there any of the other vtec's that i can maybe interchange parts with? Teg Type R?..... i can get the ECU chipped, thats no problem and if need be i can get the head skimmed and piston housing honed out but im not sure of what the best option for me is? I have a local engineer who will help me with the re-build so im just after some suggestions really....... Also anyone who's got any info on easier ways around the re-build or hints and tips would be a saint if they could help me out too. Thanks alot guys...Ryan.

<<:driving:Hoping to have civic ready by summer for Donnay and Pod...Skyline style!full kit mint paint Full leather re-trim and now maybe My Sweet little engine!....of course the extras too!:driving:>>

if he wants to stay NA the b17a crankshaft gives a much better R/S ratio, and will allow the b16a to do what it does best...REV....now if he is gonna go snail mode....thats a different story :rick:

an ls crank and rods with custom pistons in a b16 block with an 82mm bore puts displacement at around 1.9L with the kit from tech43. all this inside a b16 block. noone will ever be the wiser. :rick:
