I hear there is something weird because of there is no non-obd VTEC distributor for USDM cars.

True, but that's only a factor if you are looking to replace the entire distributor assembly.

For a cap and rotor try a 94-97 Del Sol DOHC VTEC or 99-00 Civic Si.

They will work fine.
