Uberdata Question

i was just wondering if i add the ROM and EPROM chips will i have to program it myself, i dont yet have an EPROM coder so i was just wondering if i put the chip in and leave it blank will the ECU ignore it?
thanks for the help im new to the uberdata stuff

You will need to get a stock program burned onto the chip if you plan on starting it.
