help!!rear suspension bolt!!!

Default help!!rear suspension bolt!!!

hi guys,does anyone know how to get the bolt out that goes through the rear fork on the bottom of the damper on an eg hatch?its the only bolt left!! thanks

You need a big ass breaker bar or some air tools. I had issue with that bolt too and the breaker bar saved me.

happend to me about 3 different times, That damn bolts seizes on the bushing and does not want to come out. an impact gun will sometimes work if not a braker bar like "shmoo" said.

yeah i got an air gun but it aint havin it either,braker bar it is!!

try that braker bar but be careful cause you dont want to snap that bolt then you would have to drill it out

oops!!! drill it out it is then!!!lol i think it was the only option anyway,i've been trying to undo it for two days!!

Default damned bolt!

You'll really struggle to drill thru that bolt......trust me i've been ther!! I tried drilling, heating, impacting etc and it wouldnt budge, so instead i dropped the strut down bent the fork on the strut and squeezed the lower sus arm out, with this out, i put a socket over the outer metal edge of the bushing and used a bearing press to push it out, with that out use the press to put a new bushing in and re-assemble.
This has happened to me 4 times!!
