Default stock airbox

i have a 95 accord lx and i was wondering if i could clean the stock filter? is it easy to take apart the stock airb ox?

it's very simple. the airbox is held together with two clips, or at least it was on my old honda. to clean the filter i believe you just run water through it, but you might want to get a 2nd opinion on that before you try it. also you could purchase a k&n filter, but if you were gonna do that you might as well purchase an intake because it wouldn't cost that much more.

I would just purchase a replacement K&N filter because I don't believe you can clean the stock one. I think they may even have instructions for the replacement procedure in your owners manual.
