Default 87 Integra swap....

just outta curiousity, how hard would it be to swap a B16 in a 87 LS Integra???

shouldnt be too hard, but id rather go with a b18 instead of the torqueless b16

Not too hard, but it's going to cost you $5k or more by the time you're done buying the custom mounts, axles, linkage, reworked wiring harness, etc.

This swap is virtually the same as swapping a B16A into an 84-87 Civic.

b18 is your best bet there cheap and love to be boosted (turbo)

Not at easy as putting them in a 88-91 civic but not that much harder. I think hasport has the mounts you need and its easier with a cable tranny.

Not much harder, but much more expensive. The mounts are more expensive, the axles are custom length units made for the job, and the converted harness is about $350 by itself.

Granted, it will be a fun car when it's all said and done, but it's definatly not a "budget" swap.
