Default 90 CRX Hf idle problem

After warming up the engine idles by jumping from high idle to low idle and back. I've tried resetting the idle by pulling the 2P cable from the EACV, replacing it, and pulling the hazard fuse for 10 seconds. [I wasn't able to locate an idle adjustment screw.] No significant change.

I am curious if the alternator is different than the original and is requiring a higher idle speed to provide the necessary current. Any help would be appreciated.

no, thats not it. try this, it worked for me. take off your IACV and look at the round two circle looking gasket. usually in this case the gasket is bad, not the IACV! put a dab of RTV gasket maker around the edge of the gasket, and put it back on and i bet the idle stops jumping!
