Default To teh experts(srt-4)

Hey guys, sorry for posting this on honda-acura. I think you guys know more than those guys at srtforums. I bought a srt-4 yesterday, and it was running really good, tempature was saying good everything seemed perfect. When I drove up a steeper hill, i smelt a burning oil/gas kinda smell. Than just coasting I didnt smell it. Than we parked I started smelling it again, outside of the car. Didnt see any oil leaking. Does anyone know what this could be, and how I can fix this. Is something bad gonna happen soon

Is it a new car? Is it still under warranty? If so, bring it to the dealer.

Because it's a Dodge..

j/k

I would guess when they topped of fluids they might have spilt some oil on the motor.. go spray it down at a carwash..

When you bought it did it look like they had put some kind of shiney stuff on the plastic's and hoses and stuff.
Was it really shiney under the hood?
If so it might be that they put some tire shine on the hoses and whatnot to get a really nice shine, and they accidently got some on the block and exhaust and it's just burning it off. Tire shine is made up of an oily waxy substance.
