weird teg problem

it is dead center under the intake manifold.... goes into the head...

i also cracked it in half :-x

welll w/e the prob is its going to be assested at a garage :-x my car just got towed to teh garage :-/

Yeah, that is the knock sensor. It has a green harness on it. It doesn't go into the head though. It is right under where the head and block meet. Those aren't cheap. It sounds like you are having the same exact problems than I did with this project.

yea... well someone told me the idle controll vavlue could be clogged but i dont know exactly where thats at... because im guessing it should have a sensor on it and well the only vacuum hose that leads to my IM isnt on a sensor or anything just stright in it goes...
knock sensors wouldnt make my car run like poop would it?
I went to the garage that it got towed to and drove it home.. lol because someone said idle control vavle so i figured why not try that and maybe save some money if it works....

well i pretty sure my chirp is comin from the iab selonoid one of the hoses... if i disc one of the hoses it dosnt even make a difference... so obiously thats not good... its goin between 1 and 3 1/2 grand now... its gettin looked at tomorrow
the sensor was a knock sensor...
ill post up what i find out
