Can you do an F series mini-me like they do on the D series?

From what I've heard on the subject, yes... assuming you mean a SOHC VTEC F head on a SOHC F block. I'm by no means an F-series guy though.

Yes it is possible to do a big minime swap but for a couple of bucks more than the price of the head you could get the whole f22 or f23 vtec swap out of a accord, or Acura CL. Its also going to be a lot more reliable.

Or perhaps save up the beans for an H22A or H23A (as in the uber-rare JDM Accord DOHC VTEC, not the normal US H23A non-VTEC Prelude engine) swap.

That doesn't work, except on the F20B... but that engine is an H in denial.

The F20B is a DOHC VTEC engine. It's just an H22A with a different rotating assembly that destrokes it to 2.0L.
