Default Engine question

Is there any tuning that needs to be done when adding bolt-ons (i,h,e) to any type of engine?

with typical bolt ons, tuning is not required. with addition of parts that increase airflow significantly and require extra fuel, will need to be tuned.

If you want to be uber-vauge, yes, a lot of engines require tuning with the addition of bolt-on modifications.

The stock ECU will "learn" when you introduce minor mods like i/h/e. Once you get into cams and such, you need to tune it.
