1. im looking for something that will bolt on to the car.

2. whats the name of the powerplant 89 integra RS comes with?

3. does the B20B motor sound like a tin can?

4. what Bseries motor doesnt sound like a tin can. (other than the ITR engine)

5. what makes the motor sound like a tin can? (dont even say, " cuz of the exhaust") why does the d16a sound like a tin can even with a stock motor?


plze im serious about these questions. i dont want to constantly think otherwise when people ask me these questions. so someone set me straight. no let me rephrase that, someone who KNOWS cars set me straight. and i will thank you.

ok number one 89 teg comes with d16a1
if you get the jdm d16 which is the ZC engine it is a direct bolt in(zc has soemthin like 15-20 more hp from higher lift cams which is really the only difference between the jdm and usdm engines)
i think by tin can you mean a ricey sound..if you want a deeper exhaust get a long resonator and a magnaflow muffler
if you plan on putting in a b series engine you will need new mounts and axles and you wont have power steering

funny you should mention it. when i rev this car to around 5rpm the car doesnt sound like a tin can at all, instead i hear a deep tone. and the car doesnt have any mods. stock exhaust system.

the ZC engine sounds good. would you know where i can get a hold for one? and how much would they go for?

ok i think the b series engine is out of the question haha dont really plan on investing much money on this car. just need it reliable for as a daily beater.

 

you can sometimes find them on ebay for a couple hundred dollars..make sure you get a black top one though..i have a zc engine and i am pleased with the performance..its no mclaren but you get what you pay for
