Default Car won't start. Eletrical stuff.

I was tightening the positive end to the battery and the end of the socket wrench touched the negative and sparked. I opened the car door to see if it did anything. The door ajar beep sounded until I closed the door and the interior lights worked for a bit, but when I tried to crank the car, nothing started and none of the beeping or lights worked.

I don't know if this means anything but I put jumper cables on the battery and touched the other ends together once to see if it would spark and they did, so I dunno if that exlcudes the battery from the problem or not.

I don't know what I damaged so I need some help.

Check the fuses. It usually will blow a fuse when you short out the battery.

After looking at it in the dark for 3 hours then had some friends come and help... we replaced the battery with a new one I had out of another car and saw that it was sparking at the ground. I realized it wasn't tightened down all the way. Took a 10mm socket to it and it started up and ran fine. Big relief
