Default Boost guage install ?

O.k I am getting ready to boost my 92 hatch and was wondering where the best point on the intake manifold to tie in the boost guage and bov. On my other car I had to drill and tap the intake manifold to do this and was wondering if I would have to do the same thing.
Thanks
JV

Should be able to just tap one of the vacuum lines off of the intake manifold. Thats what I did with my DSM. If I get a sec I'll look and see which one it is

Tap the vacuum line going to the top of the FPR.

That or the one on the back of the intake (if your motor has it). What gauge are you going to be installing (brand)?

Default Thanks people for the info

Well this is my first honda buildup.
I am just turbo charging a 92cx....using a homemade kit...saab t/3 turbo, monza bov, aeromotive fpr, cometic hg,RC injectors, pwr radiator, billet aluminum oil distribution block,Yonaka front mount intercooler, walboro fuel pump. My guages are a Mongoose nite glow boost guage, autometer oil and air/fuel. I am only planning on 7-10 psi on this stock engine. 10 psi is all that the cometic hg will allow this engine to handle.
I sell custom Geo storm parts as well as Top Speed accessories,Yonaka intercoolers and radiators,HP racing, Progress, TYC, Chill Factory turbo kits and accessories.
My other cars.....consist of
a turbo neon that puts down 320 at 18 psi
Its an auto fully built engine and has power everything including my a/c still blowing ice cold ....car is capable of handling 26 psi if I ever decide to swap to a 5-speed. The auto tranny can only handle 18 psi
an all motor GEO storm GSI which had side draft carbs on it last year and was allowing me to do 9000 rpm shifts.
Its now back to fuel injection and is awaiting a new short block.
Unfortunately my msd pill was an 8000 and the crank was only balance up to 8000....ITS not racing unless something is breaking
