00 ls into 97 civic ex.. which ecu to use?

Default 00 ls into 97 civic ex.. which ecu to use?

i have a 00 ls motor that i am putting into a 97 civic ex. my question is what ecu do i use? and is there a difference between obd2a and obd2b? would it be fine to use either or?

you have to use the ECU that came with the engine.

can you use a b16 ECU with an LS?

No the b16 is a vtec engine and the LS isnt. I tried using a GSR ECU in my LS and the car wouldnt even start

You want an OBD2A P75 ecu. Because an OBD2B ecu wont' plug into your car's harness.
