Default Dirty Air Filter Clogups???

Yo peeps..Was wondering if any of you guys have used a K&N filtercharger kit to get all those dirt off your Intake filters. Let me what result came out of it. Is the kit worth buying...? My AEM air filter is pretty dirty and cloged up.. When is it time to replace a new one?? Suggestions please.. Thanks.

I just bought a K&N the other day and it works a whole lot better then my factory filter. I suggest cleaning your filter once every 10,000 miles.

The FilterCharger kit is just cleaner & oil for K&N filters. I've used it, it works. I don't know if there's anything real special about the cleaner, maybe Simple Green or something like that would work??? But you'll want the oil anyway.

Where I live & drive, there's barely any dirt on it after 10k miles. YMMV...

I think that cleaner is basically just a degreaser. But the oil usually only comes along with a bottle of the cleaner... and it's reasonably priced.
