Default Secondaries on a GSR

I have a 97 GSR in my 95 civic with a OBD-1 P72. I wanted to know; I already switched the pin from A20 to A17. I was told that with an OBD2 motor you have to run a 12v source to the plug. I was wondering, where does A17 (formerly A20) run to? am I supposed to run a pin from A17 to the IAB plug? or do I run a 12v source to the IAB plug?

get the skunk2 mani so you dont have to worry about that bullshit...h:

anyhow...the motor isnt obd2, its the wiring and ecu that dictate what obd you are running. if you are running the obd1 ecu, then you need to add the pin to the correct location and run a wire to the IAB plug.
