took the GS-R motor out of a G3 integra sedan. the plan was to drop a B16A into the car with the GS-R tranny. problem was, we couldnt get the tranny off the B18. is there a seal or somethin? any tips to gettin it off? just gotta get it off to finish the swap...thanks.

One of the starter bolts goes through the tranny casing and attachs to the block. I tend to remove the starter altogether to use the hole as a handle to help control the tranny as it's lowered off. Sometimes you need to take a couple of screwdrivers and jam them between the tranny and block where the cracks form to break them loose but they will come if all the bolts are removed (a helm's is good for this).

Just dont mess up the tranny or the block while you are doing it. Both are aluminum and will get pretty banged up if you just hammer away at them
