CVT transmissoin draining.

Default CVT transmissoin draining.

Yo, anyone have a CVT transmission? just curious because i want to drain the tranmision fluid, and have no clue where the drain plug is.
any sugestions?

jack your car up and support it on jack stands. the Drain plug is on the passenger side on the lowest part of the tranny. It's a plug that a 3/8 ratchet can fit into. loosen it and drain the CVT fluid. Remember you will need about 4 quarts of Honda CVT Fluid, NOT ATF. torque the drain bolt to 36 ft/lbs. lower your car and fill through the tranny dip stick. Start engine, move selector through all positions 3 times, ensuring each gear engages. put gear into park and turn off engine. check fluid to see if it's up to the upper mark. Done
