Default OBD1 P72 wiring

I have a 95 civic EX with a OBD1 P72. I know I have to run my knock sensor wire and my IAB sensor wire. The thing is I dont know where to start. I know that the IAB goes to A17 and the knock sensor goes to D3, but the thing is... I dont know where they go from there. How am I supposed to get the wire in there? Do I stick the wire in the harness?? Also where do those wires go to?? Where on the motor or wiring harness do they connect to??

buy/find the pins that go into the the harness....personally, I went to a junkyard, and cut off the ecu plug with a good length of wire running out of it still, and took the factory wire plugs out and transplanted them into the places on the ecu plug in my car. after that, you can run the wiring through a rubber plug that is found behind your battery, it is where all the wires run through from the ecu to the engine harness. The knock sensor is located on the back of the block, and has a green plug that goes to it. I recomend cutting the knock sensor plug off of the GSR wiring harness, unless you are using the GSR harness already. if you have any more questions hit me up on PM, and I can get you pictures of all the things I have mentioned.

I heard something about moving the pin from A20 to A17 and IAB will work. A20 is the EVAP purge control solenoid. If I disconnect A20 will it affect my car in any way?? and where does A20 go to on the motor?

This was a good thread on how to remove the pins. I used a safety pin to remove the pin from the plug.
