Default SRS and BREAK light

I drive a 2001 Honda Accord. Awhile ago, my SRS light began to appear and now it wont' turn off! Does anyone know what that means? I called Honda and they said that they will have to do a diagnostic on my car and that'll cost me $100+ and I asked if my warrenty covers it, they said they won't know till after. So I will have to pay and if my warrenty doesn't cover it then I'll have to pay for it.

Also my break light turns on while I drive sometimes and while I step on the breaks. It turns on randomly. I checked my break fluid and I'm not low!

Someone help me and tell me what's going on with my car!

When did the SRS light come on? What caused it to come on? Reason for asking is becasue If you just replaced your battery, most of the time your SRS system needs to be reset. There is a special procedure to reset it. Concerning your brake light, check your brake light bulbs if they are working and if the e-brake switch is adjusted correctly. Honda has a feature that if your rear brake bulbs go out, the brake light will lite up. If the probelm is intermitant, you may have a short to power.

I haven't changed my battery at all. If my break lights are out, another break light will come on. But my SRS is just on all the time. Any help??
