my wastegate on my 14b i purchased is shot. the wastegate pulls harder than hell and can not be adjusted. was wondering if a tial 38mm wastegate would work on this setup and if so how do these wastegates mount on a turbo setup. new at this.

 

I believe that the 14b uses an actuator or internal style wastegate, while the TiAL units are external. You can convert it, but you will need to change some piping. I'd look into getting a replacement for your internal wastegate before trying to convert, if that is in fact the case.

 

any idea where i can get one for not to expensive. nothing in junkyards here. i've already looked
