Default LSVtec Distributor Problems

I have a 92 integra LS and i recently swapped in my LSvtec motor that was running in my CRX. In doing the swap, i decided to use the ls distributor after cutting off the post that is in the way of the vtec solenoid. This caused my timing to be waaaaaay off so i decided to see if i could somehow use the non-OBD rebuilt JDM b16 distributor that i had running in my crx. I did some research and found out that I needed to swap the two sensor wires (CYP&CKP) in order fot the ecu not to throw a code. After doing this and starting up the car, i got no CEL, but the car idles like @*&(^$. It sounds as if i had a blown head gasket so i freaked out. I put the old LS dist back on it, and it idled fine, but the timing was stay waaaaaay advanced. I don't know what to do in this situation except try and find someone with an OBD1 GSR/B16 distributor that would let me test it on my car, but i don't know anyone locally who has one. Last but not least, with the non-OBD dist on the car, it was spraying out "black water" from the exhaust into a little puddle on the ground. The liquid wasn't oily, just looked like soot filled water. My question is has anyone had any luck with using the non-OBD distributors on OBD1 vehicles or know anyone who has, or know where i can find more information on this. The reason i want to use the distributor is that i paid 200 bucks for it and it's rebuilt with less than 100 miles on it.

Thx
