Swap of a diffrent breed...
-ok well i basicly posted this in a diffrent thread and a few peeps started to diss me about it.. i dont really see what the big deal is or was and it pretty much was on the thread topic.. at the same time i was trying to open up the thread makers eyes to something new and diffrent.. now i guess raiden attempted but failed to diss me.. the reason? well maybe because i quoted what he said.. who knows if this is possible.. i kinda doubt it, and if not possible.. well his posting would be incorrect.. with a name like raiden you'd think that he'd have some analogy or personal thoughts or beliefe on ohms law.. or you would think that he knew a thing or two about electrical aspects of a car.. the only thing this guy knows about electrical is resistance, and i dont think he comprehends it in that kind of way.. but anyways im getting off the topic..
-this is just a brainstrom.. now if it's possible i would really appreciate it if some1 gave me just a litlle credit. some possitive kind of feedback would be fantastic.. any ways i was wondering if it's possible to swap the new tsx wait no the tl engine into a new si hatch.. i havent been able to find the engine code yet. i dont even know what series this falls into.. but it's a 6 cl... starting with a 3.2 and 270 to the crank i figure that'd be a nice little head start.. it's not like i have the money to do this but i've already found a salvaged 2004 tl heh...

Ha ha, I typically try to shut down people who make rude remarks about someone's post but I'm sorry, I agree with ED9man. I've tried to read through your post about 3 times now and it makes my brain hurt.
A couple of things, slow down, think about what you want to post and then type it in an rational and understandable manner. Proper puncuation and sentance structure takes very little effort and just makes conversation in a text based media like a webforum much easier. 2nd, your typing, if you make a mistake, like say "swap the new tsx, wait no the tl engine" you can hit backspace and delete the previously mentioned but improper reference before you hit post reply. Also, as you mentioned, the engine your refereing to is a 6 cylinder engine, an Si hatch has so little room in the engine bay, Honda shoved the radiator up under the rad support to make it fit. I'm sure with enough money and time, you could make it work but that's assuming you crap 100 bills and eat a high fiber diet.

hahaha nice! i love it! i know alot of women who would say that you two have such a case of small dick syndrome. this is hilarious.. just pick at my grammar and punctuation... can you say anything positive.. i mean get real.. and the other guy, well grow the hell up and make an insult in a polite way.. take it as advice.. you're not going to get too far in life talking like that.. my days of talking like that are over.. comon guys are we still in middle school? i really dont care about you guys claimin sides and stuff.. i dont need to brag or anything. i've made my mark in the scene and those who know me, well they know too.. but that doesnt matter.. why do you think i changed my name? to prove that bed wetters like yourself still exsist.. my grammar and punctuation are written as they are on purpose, to draw these types of people.. o yea you wouldnt know much about that would ya? yea you guys do all the pon work on your own.. do some searching in the forums.. you also might find a few of my articles in your stack of mags.. peace
Can be ban this trash and his half-assed insults? I mean he's not contributing anything, he's falt out ignorant. To the point where he doesn't have the capacity t o accept input and make corrections. You mods should get more liberal with, you know, the axe so to speak. If I ran this place and you used such horrendous grammar like that on more than one occasion you and your offspring would be banned for life faster than you could decipher one sentence of that post that would send an english teacher into cardiac arrest, which when it comes down to it, all sarcasm aside, I would take my time but it would get done nonetheless. We should have some sort of a screening process for new members. I bet a trained monkey could convey his thoughts and ideas better than a lot of the fools who post here. And it only gets worse, the fine line between comprehension and abomination is crossed with alarming frequency.
you really want me banned? is that what you want? take it up with one of the many forum moderators if you feel that strong about it.. im sure they'll understand exactly where you're coming from.. i ask a simple question and you diss on me.. but i must say that your writing skills are pretty good.. it's literally an art in itself isnt it? the legendary beaux of arts! you certainly have the attitude to fit in there too.. you should really be dropped man.. your ranking is now erk! where are you from anyways? this guys gotta have em... lol
And now we back away from our keyboards and take a breath. Knock it off fellas... let's be adults shall we?

As for the topic at hand: this would be considered a 'good idea' if you could do it and replicate it with some kind of ease. Also, you'd have to actually make the thing fit. I'm in no way saying that this can't be done as we've seen NSX motors make their way into CRX's and S2000 motors into EG hatch's, but this post seems to be aimed more toward bashing others than actually attempting to gain some kind of insight or creating an idea with some kind of stability behind it. Sure, I could say "hey, check it out! I had this great idea... I'll put a Supra TT motor in my Civic... what do you think?!?'
ANYTHING can be done with the right people doing it and with the right amount of money. I don't foresee this swap happening considering the coutless differences in the engine/chassis's and the considerable R&D it would take to make a good set of motor mounts/shift linkage and so many other things.
Good luck with your idea.
