whats this hose for??

hey, i found this hose here. i have no clue what its for or where its suppose to be connected. it seems to be running into the firewall, but someone may correct me.

I think it drains water.

Yeah, I can't see it real good, but it looks like it might be the drain for the AC evaporator.
